Children and young people are currently squeezed into an educational framework in which ecology does not occupy a special place. Therefore, the role of associations, foundations and other non-governmental organizations that promote the spreading of knowledge about it from the bottom up is extremely important. Climate is not only about threats that can be used to scare the youngest. Learning about it and the environment around us can also be part of the fun and adventure. The Natural Design Summer School is a very valuable permaculture-based initiative that also teaches community building. Through lectures, workshops, trips and cultural events, valuable knowledge is passed on, expanding the awareness of not only ordinary citizens of different age groups, but also investors and decision-makers. During workshop classes, educational ecological projects are created, relating to existing plots, so that the resulting projects can be used not only by all participants of the event, but also by other people in similar cases.
